and they have a 17 yr. old son name Bryan.  
  • Earned her car 6 months after buying her Starter Kit and debuted as a Sales Director the
    very next month!  
  • The AMaysing Bombshells finished 5th in their debut class out of over 200 Units.
  • Member of the prestigious Fabulous 50's Club!

  • Has been in the National Court of Sales 6 times earning fabulous diamond rings!

When Mary Kay found her, she was working full-time at night managing a restaurant and going full-time to
Culinary School during the day, in hopes of starting her own restaurant.  She was a little discouraged when
she started creating a business plan and realized that it was going to require over a $200,000 investment  to
start her "dream business".

She was introduced to the Mary Kay business opportunity at a skin care class that she had for a friend.  
When asked if she'd ever thought about selling Mary Kay, she said, "I could never do this!  I'm too busy and
I'm not the 'sales type'.  She went to a Mary Kay meeting with her friend and heard National Sales Director
Linda Toupin speak about women in business.  Linda, a former school teacher with her Master's Degree in
education, shared that night that she was at the top of her pay scale when she was introduced to Mary Kay.  
She fell in love with the company and it's founder Mary Kay Ash.   Mary Kay believed that a woman could put
her faith first, family second, and career third and still make an executive income with this business.  Linda
also shared that her commission check for the month was over $50,000!  After hearing there were no sales
quotas, and that you could build your business at your own pace, Melissa joined on the spot.  For a $100
investment that gave her over $300 worth of products and a ticket to buy great products at 50%, what was the
worst thing that could happen?  

Within 2 months, Melissa was making more money selling Mary Kay on the side than she was at her full-
time job.  She left the restaurant business for good and the rest as they say is history!  She now works Mary
Kay out of her home full-time where she enjoys spending time with her family while making a remarkable
income!
